  • Are ring sizes different for men and women?

  • What’s the average ring sizes for men and women?

For ring sizes in the UK, the average ring size for women is an O and the average ring size for men is a T. It’s good to keep in mind that everyone’s different and one size doesn’t fit all, so make sure to use our handy chart or visit your nearest Beaverbrooks for an accurate size.

  • What if I buy the wrong ring size?

Don’t panic if you’ve already bought a ring and haven’t got the right ring size. As long as the ring is unworn, we can look to exchange it for the right size. Please keep in mind there are certain types of rings that we are unable to re-size. Depending on the metal and style of the ring, for example whether it has a design or stones set around the band, it may not be possible for us to adjust it. Pop into your nearest store or call our services team for more advice on resizing.

  • Can you make a ring bigger?

This depends on the style of the ring. The best thing to do is bring your new ring into your nearest Beaverbrooks store and one of our experts will give you the help and advice you need.

  • How do I know if my ring is the right fit?

You want your ring to be comfortable and secure. It should slip comfortably onto your finger with a slight resistance as it goes over your knuckle. It’s important that you can get it off if needed for swimming or for working reasons for example, but it’s important it doesn’t twist around and fall off on its own.
